Dear Log:
I am sitting in Jeuno right now awaiting an invite to an experience gaining party. Two levels away from being done with Warrior, then I will spend my time hunting and making money so I can start fishing. Sorry I do not have much to report at this moment, I hope to bring more exciting stories soon.

Okay, I have not been home a lot lately. Between graduation parties and family events I have been pretty busy. I would like to tell you all an interesting story. So I went with some friends to Detroit for a Break-Core/Rave at someone warehouse loft. Now I have never been to Detroit before and I knew it was not a super safe place and on top of that we were kind of in the low quality mass graffiti section. Some back story is kind of needed. I am a boy who lives out in the country, dial-up only closest neighbor is while away kind of conservative place. So I don’t know a lot about the outside world other then what is on TV or the internet, I know shallow shallow shallow. Anyway, we were standing by the car and a girl walked up to me and said “excuse me.” Now my reaction is to say “Yes, what do you need?” and she said “Do you know where I can get some E?” I had no idea what it was and when I realized she meant xtc and I felt like a complete idiot, then a lot of people with drugs started to show up and I was freaking out. So that is my scary story for the day. Take Care.

Quest to Kazham!

{RP}
Dear Log:
Lately I have been traveling around Vana’Dial a lot more then I thought I was going to. I made it to the beach again and took out more revenge on those lizards. After a while some people at the beach told me I needed to go to a city called Jeuno. The name sounded familiar and when I got there I remember that it was a place where a lot of economic trading between Bastok and the other countries occur. I was excited to meet all of the new people from all over the world, I met a few Puppetmasters who were happy that I aspired to be like them. A hume named Brutus taught me that I could ride a Chocobo from place to place, but only if I can learn to respect them as an individual creature and not a tool. That was pretty easy and the bird took to me very quickly. The locals told me I needed to kill monsters on Qufim Island and gain more experience as a Warrior. I took their advice and I am now a level 25 Great Axe wielding powerhouse. My next destination is a far away island that only an airship takes you to. Some fellow at the agency said I needed to raise money to buy a ticket or I could help him out and get three keys from some pretty packed monster territories. I chose to get the keys because I spent all of my gil on a cool axe. I guess my tasks will always become more difficult as time goes on. Such is the life of a true adventurer.

SCHOOL IS DONE! Well, for the summer at least. So far I have two A’s and my other two are not in yet. I am excited to have a few months off, I need to find a new job and then the rest of my time when I am not with friends I will be on FFXI trying to play catch up. The announcement of the new expansion pack excites me but at the same time worries me because I have so much work to do to catch up. I guess I am a bit insane because I want to level up every job to 37 and get all my crafts leveled before I even start PUP, but can you blame me? The job is really expensive and I want to be the best I can be at it so I will go the extra mile to get all of the attachments and buy the best armor possible. One day down the road I hope to have other Puppetmasters look up to me and aspire to be good at the job. Oh I forgot to mention, I got a Wii a few weeks ago! /hurray! I have been playing Super Paper Mario like crazy, it is really fun. Actually I am going to go play it now, goodnight!

Support Job: Get!

{RP}
Dear Log:
Life outside of the city and the mines can be a bit hectic. I got my first taste of reality when a devilish lizard inflicted me with a incapacitating poison. Those monsters I will avoid when I can from now on. I went to a beautiful sandy beach named Valkrum and it was filled to the brim with monsters and fellow adventurers. I teamed up with a few of them and we took out our anger on those evil lizards together so it would be safer for all of us. An old man at the docks sent me on a quest to obtain rare items. It was hard but he rewarded me with teaching me how to combine two jobs so I could become a more powerful and useful adventurer. The nation of Bastok recently certified me as a rank two citizen. You seem to get more respect when you are a higher rank so I plan to work hard to become well know all around the world hopefully. I am currently an axe wielding warrior who is ready to head to the beach again.

I haven’t had a chance to play much FFXI lately. This week is my last week of normal classes and next week is finals so I have been working mostly on getting projects done and papers written. I am currently freaking out about what I should do so I can make sure I get into graduate school. I really hope to move out on my own soon, I am sick of dial-up and I am sick of my parents being in my business all the time. I joined a really awesome LS named BroodXI. If any of you on the fairy server need a LS they are looking for members, specifically 65+ because they decided it would be better for them to do endgame stuff together since they are all so close as friends. I hope they will accept me as a close friend sometime in the future, they are all a great bunch of people who actually care which is hard to find in FFXI especially so early on when I just came to the server. I am off to bed now tomorrow is my last day for normal classes then I have quite a hectic weekend. Take care everyone!
